The Swedish data communication development company
Xware AB has obtained a contract from the Swedish Defence
Materiel Administration, FMV, regarding maintenance of the
Swedish Armed Forces' EDI and messaging solution CAMA. CAMA
is a military version of Xware's communication concept xTrade
Business Communications Suite. The order is worth over 10,6
million SEK.
Xware's communication concept xTrade Business Communications
Suite is used as a VAN service platform/integration engine
by e.g. the Swedish health care sector, WM-data BTS and
Strålfors TradeCom. xTrade BCS ensures secure and
robust integration between arbitrary platforms and message
formats. It has proven very suitable for demanding message
handling situations, where many different parties and systems
are being connected to each other.
Xware AB delivers the military version of xTrade BCS, called
CAMA, to the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV.
CAMA is used within the Swedish Armed Forces for integrating
both military command and control systems as well as business
applications.
